Brand new for 2019 is the Benchmade upgraded Griptilians. Benchmade took the standard Griptilians that have been oh so popular for years and updated it for today's popular steels. The Handle and liners are the same along with the AXIS lock. Why change what works...right? What Benchmade did do is to upgrade the blades all to CPM-S30V form the 154CM. This gives you better edge retention and sharpness. This is a much needed upgrade and is well received.
The Griptilians come in three different blade styles. the 551 drop point, the 553 tanto point and the 550 in a flat grind sheepsfoot with thumb hole instead of thumb studs.
This 551 has a Satin blade and Black colored handles.
